Steele Halifax Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT is seeking a Pre-Owned Technician to join our team.

As a Pre-Owned Technician, this role will be integral for growing the pre-owed division within Halifax Chrysler. As a Pre-owned technician you will be responsible for helping restore pre-owned vehicles into mechanically like new condition.

Qualifications:
- Passionate about the automotive industry
- Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a positive attitude
- Hard working, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
- Have a valid driver's license and be able to provide an acceptable driver's abstract
- Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License
- Must be Red Seal Certified
Responsibilities:
- In order to support our booming and growing pre-owned business, we require a Pre-Owned Reconditioning Technician
- Have the ability to work on a diverse selection of makes, models and years.
- You enjoy working on a vehicle to bring it up to standard and take pride in your ability to see the before and after
- You have the ability to troubleshoot unique problems or vehicles
- Top notch equipment to get the job done
- Inspect, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
- Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
- Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven. If you are unable to maintain a clean shave where the respirator seals to the face for any reason, please inform us in the form of a request for accommodation.
Earning Potential: $58,000 - 80,000+ Annually
